Odi Wa Muranga began 2022 with a bang having already released more than five songs all which have been topping charts , apart from that Odi Wa Muranga has a new song with his fellow boondocks gang mate Exray dubbed “Nasema Pole’ a heartbreak and heartfelt song .

Odi Wa Muranga last year released a new Album dubbed Odifications The Album containing 11songs which cuts across virtually all genres showing that Odi who was known for his Gengetone style is actually open to any style thrown towards to him, which is available in all streaming platforms.


Political Ambitions
Odi had announced that he was running for the seat of Muranga county governor but shelved the plans promising to vie for the seat come 2022 , as he is focusing on building his career.

He is actually from Murang’a;

Just like his name suggests he is from Muranga county the county is famous for being home to almost all Kikuyu Benga musicians and its not a shocker that another giant has rose from it as well with a new sound that he has popularised like the other greats from the county he hails from Kandara ,Muranga county.

He studied in Muranga High School
Apart from sharing the same name with the county he hails from he also studied in Muranga High School a national school that has engineered top brains inthe country.

He is a June baby;

He was born on June 7th and he is 24 years old and managed to break the ranks at a young age of just 20 years proving that age is just a number and is now considered as a huge musician in Kenya despite being young.

He is actually a rapper ;


Most people are not actually aware that he started out as a rapper and he is still a rapper, he still maintains he has never changed his style he only diverged to sing while rapping a style that Drake , J cole and Kendrick lamar have popularised and is now a big trend in Hip hop and the style sure did work.

His lyrics are comical in nature;

Depsite being a hardcore rapper and having serious rapper cum voice a quick listen to his songs will leave you cracked up as his lines are funny no explanation for that needed and this in turn has attracted a huge fan base and his fans know his lyrics word for word.
