The most anticipated and highly publicized Easter Country event in Eldoret town and the greater north rift regional themed the country music Swahili Edition finally went down at Toby’s Tavern yester night leaving a feeling of satisfaction to the event Attendees as the show truly lived up to their expectations.
The performing artist Elvis Nyaruri and his Gichagi Boys band started off by executing a laudable sound check some few hours to the start of the event before mother nature decided to also pay a courtesy call and blessed the event with some light showers signifying that she also approved the roller coaster event that was prepared by the picturesque Toby’s Tavern
Guests Started streaming in by early as seven (7 )pm which was followed by the country man himself Elvis Nyaruri and his band taking to the well lit & well set up stage . Elvis Nyaruri put up an A1 Perfomance where he juggled up in between hits off his best selling Gichagi Album and performed requests covers to the delight of his diverse audience which attracted both local & international guests.
Toby’s Tavern on its part had prepared a wide array of foods which ranged from Nyama Choma, five star buffets, their legendary mouth watering Exotic foods all night long which they complimented with a wide range of drinks from beverages beers, vodka’s , scotch, whiskey, Gin , Rum & so on . The host had also prepared a well lit bonfire that kept the guests warmed up from the outdoor ravaging cold .
Before the curtains fell Elvis Nyaruri who by then had secured his spot as the crowd’ s darling was requested back up on stage to perform a half an hour set as the rave troupe wanted a Little bit more of what he & Toby’s tavern were serving .
After the end of Elvis Nyaruri set Toby’s Tavern in house Dj Realest took over where he mixed in between Country and international symphonies till late into the night with fans requesting the Tavern To house more similar events as the enjoyed every single bit of it.
