At the time of his death Killer Kau 24 , was poised to take over the amapiano industry with his then new Lp Amanieghbour which was also the title of the lead single off the Lp.

However Killer Kau wasn’t to enjoy the success and greatness that he was destined for as he tragically lost his life alongside 6 music stars including mpura on a road accident on his way to a gig.

In What seemed like a sad fate at his funeral his uncle who was taking care of him would reveal that the singers mum and brother had also lost thier lives in separate road accidents and she was shocked that the same happened to him in what seemed like a curse.

Its also interesting to note that one of the music stars Ricky Rik who attended Kau’s funeral and paid a moving tribute to slain star would also go on to commit suicide a few months after in a move that shook the south african entertainment scene.
