Singer Janitaz is back with a new sensation, Machahood or katindili.

The single is his fourth overall release as well as his first release in 2023.



Machawood , Doubles down as both a love song as well as glowing tribute to Machakos county which is his fatherland and the adoration can be felt in the single which is written and composed in Kamba and Swahili.

Katindili is about Janitaz taking a city damsel to his native home county and experience the beauty of the area which has being stereotyped for harbouring not so good climatic conditions.

Janitaz is more than pleased to explain in detail what is the lady he is touring with is expected to see .

The video is also interestingly shot in his own native village and the scenery in the song is another tale of its own.
